Coble Church Road rezoning appeal goes to commissioners

4.43 acres from agricultural to conditional residential. The Planning Board said no.

Commissioners heard an appeal Oct. 1 on case 26-06-PLBD-00023, a request to rezone 4.43 acres at 5731 Coble Church Road from AG to CZ-RS-40. The Planning Board denied the request Aug. 12.

On Sept. 17, commissioners also took up an appeal for 645 NC Hwy 62 E: 26.09 acres from AG to CZ-RS-30, for up to 14 lots (case 26-02-PLBD-00011). The Planning Board denied that one 5-1.
