Erwin Montessori rebuild climbs to $51 million
The budget grew by $39.5 million in August. The Rhino Times puts the final figure about $3.3 million over plan.

The rebuild of Erwin Montessori, the school destroyed by the 2018 Greensboro tornado, now carries a budget of $51,031,620, the Rhino Times reported. Another $39.5 million was added Aug. 6. The guaranteed maximum price for construction is $36.9 million, and the Rhino Times put the overrun against the plan at about $3.3 million.
The school broke ground Sept. 2, eight years after the storm, WFMY reported.
