Greensboro asks for $41.5 million in five bond questions
Parks, fire stations, transportation, a municipal building and housing. Each is a separate vote.

Greensboro voters will see five bond questions, each adopted by City Council on Aug. 3: parks and recreation, $11.5 million; firefighting facilities, $15.9 million; transportation, $7 million; municipal building, $2.1 million; and housing, $5 million. Together they total $41.5 million in principal.
The city's required statements estimate the cost with interest. Parks: $18,257,755. Fire: $25,235,434. Transportation: $11,104,459. Municipal building: $3,329,922. Housing: $8,063,912. The estimated yearly tax cost per $100,000 of property value runs from 50 cents for the building bond to $3.80 for the fire bond.
