Greensboro zoning cases: hundreds of new homes on the table

The Planning & Zoning Commission's Sept. 23 agenda included: 257 Willowlake Road to a planned unit development for up to 87 homes on 21.98 acres (Z-26-09-001); 425 S. Bunker Hill Road to conditional light industrial, 8.86 acres (Z-26-09-002); 1500 Huffine Mill Road to CD-RM-18 for up to 115 units on 8.17 acres (Z-26-09-004); and annexation of 1816 Andrews Farm Road with CD-RM-18 zoning for 85 units on 20.336 acres.
Also on the agenda: 740 Chestnut St. to CD-RM-12 for four units, with a condition against demolishing the pre-1935 building (Z-26-09-003), and a medical rezoning at 4001 and 4005 S. Elm-Eugene St. (Z-26-08-009).
