Revival American Contract Furniture shut its High Point plant July 31

The owner blamed a shortage of skilled upholsterers, customs paperwork and tariffs.

Revival American Contract Furniture, which took over the former Vision Contract Manufacturing plant in High Point, closed July 31. Owner Bruce Krinsky said on LinkedIn that the venture cost him and his wife about $3 million, and cited trouble hiring skilled upholstery workers, customs documentation disputes and tariffs, Home News Now reported. Woodworking Network reported the plant employed about 50 people.
